Portland WordPress User Group and WordCamp Portland are actually two separate entities, but we do encourage anyone and everyone to attend WordCamp Portland (September 18-19) if you can! At this meeting, we’ll take a look at what to expect at WordCamp Portland this year. By the way, WordCamp registration is now open.
We’ll also have open time for questions and answers about WordPress.

I’m thinking we’ll have one or two special WordCamp announcements to make at the meeting… give some preferential treatment so that folks who can attend the meetup get some exciting news first 🙂

Hey, is this hosted on a really slow site? I see that your post appeared at 8:22 pm for a 6:99 meeting.
And at least a day’s notice is nice. A friend and I had a phone chat about noon Thursday, saying “isn’t there usually a WPUG on third thursday?” We checked the Google group and found nothing.
I am especially disappointed since I’ll b out of town at WP time.
Not sure what you mean about the 8:22 p.m. — that was 8:22 p.m. on Tuesday. Sorry about not getting it out on the Google Group — will try to remember that in the future.

The link https://pdxwp.com/ gets “too many redirects”. I had to use the caches pages to get to this info. Where can I find out more about the monthly meetings? I don’t see a way to subscribe to this blog.
Is the site for the meetings handicap accessible?
Not sure what was going on w/ the redirects; seems to be fine now. Meeting site should be OK for accessibility, I think. You can subscribe using the RSS feature in your browser’s address bar or using feed://pdxwp.com/feed/.
Hello All. I just attended #wcpdx and see some familiar faces from the crowd. I just learned about this group through attending and am hoping to make it to a meeting in the future if the group is open? I also curious what time you typically meet on 3rd Thursdays ? Thanks in advance
